45 for 30 Take 3

Last Saturday was the final weekend for 45 for 30! The location was Grand Haven State Park and it was a beautiful day for pictures! A very windy though...which was a challenge for those girls with long hair. ;) But we made it work and the sessions were so much fun!

The first session was of my cousin and her 3 girlfriends. They were such a blast! It was my first time doing a Friend Photo Shoot and I had so much fun with them!
The second session was of a family that I didn't know ahead of time. They were great to get to know and their boys were just too cute and very silly. :)

Overall, it was a wonderful day! Here are some sneak peaks!

Stay tuned for the next 45 for 30 sessions! They will most likely be in late September or Early October. Great time to get some fall photos done with the fall colors!

Until then, I have had such a great time doing these 45 for 30 sessions! Keep checking my blog for my photo session posts!

45 for 30 Take 2

Well the second weekend of 45 for 30 is complete! The night before the weather was looking very gloomy. It was calling for a 60% chance of rain. But I decided to press on and continue with the photo sessions that were scheduled. We did bump the sessions all to earlier in the day just in case it decided to rain in the afternoon. But it ended up being a beautiful day and we were done by 1:00 and the rain came at about 4:00 PM.
I trusted that God would provide the weather that we needed and he did. :) Amazing how God works!

So I had 3 photo sessions today and they were so much fun!
My first session was of a family and their 10 week old son, Brayden. And he is, oh my word, cute!! Such chubby little cheeks! :) It was fun to do a baby session because I don't get to do those very often!
I did not know this family ahead of time, but it was great to meet them and I am so glad I got to shoot their photos!
The second session was of a couple who was celebrating their one year wedding anniversary! They were a very photogenic couple and such nice people! I also did not know them ahead of time, but it was great to meet them as well and I had such a blast! They came with props and creative ideas which I am ALWAYS open to and was so happy with their ideas!
The final session of the day was a dear friend and her two kids. I love this woman's heart and her love for God and her family. She has such sweet kids and I had such a great time with them! I could not get over how photogenic they were!
All theses sessions made my job so easy! It was a fun filled day and I am excited to share these few sneak peaks of these 45 for 30 photo sessions!

I do still have one time slot open next Saturday, June 9 at Grand Haven for 45 for 30. The time slot is at 1:00 pm. So if you are interested please contact me and let me know! The session is 45 minutes for $30 and you will receive a CD of the edited pictures with the right to print them. The pictures will be on the beach, along the water and by the pier.

Hope you all have a blessed week!

45 for 30 Take 1

I am currently in the process of going through 3 weekends of 45 minute photo sessions for $30. The dates and locations of these sessions are May 19- Filmore At The Bend, June 2- Spring Grove Park and June 9- Grand Haven. Last weekend was the first weekend for 45 for 30. It was so much fun! Here is a little re-cap of the sessions that day...

The first weekend for 45 for 30 was a success! The location was Filmore At The Bend. It is a beautiful location with a big rustic old barn and behind it lies an open field. It is a great location for photography sessions of all kinds and also a great place to go to with the family to walk to trails on a nice day.
It was definitely a very hot day, but was still very beautiful!

I had 2 sessions for the first day of 45 for 30. The first session was Drew and Charity. They are dear friends of my husband and I and it was so fun to take their pictures!
Their pictures turned out so precious! So happy that I got the opportunity :)

The second session was of a family from my church, the Gates family. Though it is always a challenge to take pictures of a family with multiple kids just because its a task to get everyone to look with smiles on their faces at one time. It was still a success and a very fun session! Their kids are so cute and I had so much fun looking through their pictures at the adorable facial expressions that were captured. :)

Here are several pictures from the session, just because I couldn't just pick one or two. :)

Also! Thank you thank you thank you to my incredible mother-in-law for letting me borrow her furniture and chalk boards for my photo sessions!
Please go and check out her website for her furniture business! She is very talented and I love her furniture!
